Necessary Activities

	Identify necessary activities After translating a goal into manageable steps, you should identify activities which are necessary in completing a step. Necessary activities are those activities whose successful performance ensures the completion of a particular step. In order to identify activities necessary for, you may ask question to yourself: what are the activities necessary to complete a particular step? In answer to this question, you may identify various activities and some of these may not be as necessary as you feel. In order to overcome this problem, evaluate the likely contribution of each activity in completing the step.

	You should ask further, “Why this activity is necessary or what type of contribution is this activity likely to make for step completion? If the answer to a particular activity is satisfactory, put it in the category of necessary activities. If the answer is not satisfactory, have a re-look at the activity. When you identify various activities necessary to carefully, it ensures the following: All the activities which are necessary for completing a particular step must be performed.
