AVOID NEGATIVE

superjobsonline

For developing positive attitudes, staying away from negative is as important as looking for positive. If you stay away from negative, it will help you safeguard yourself from the negative influences. You might have heard the proverb: ‘a rotten apple injures its companion’ or ‘no one can come out of coal mine without being dirty’. If anyone is in the company of negative element, he cannot protect himself fully. It s just like this: if you plant a banana tree and a plum tree together, plum tree will harm banana tree. A banana tree has long and soft leaves while plum tree has thorns. When banana leaves are on move because of wind, thorns of plum tree cause damage to the banana leaves. When banana leaves are damaged, banana tree does not give good quality fruit, and giving good quality fruit is the ultimate goal of a banana tree. Look at how a banana tree fails in achieving its ultimate goal without its own fault but simply by remaining in the vicinity of a palm tree. Similar is the case with people too.
