RESEARCH SALARY PACKAGE PRACTICES OF SECTOR Before attending interview, research salary package practices of the sector to which your organization falls. In fact, salary packages differ from sector to sector, for example, salary packages of sectors like consulting, investment banking, information technology, etc. are much higher as compared to other sectors for the same type of candidates. A salary package offered to a candidate is employee cost to the organization and, thus, includes basic salary and a host of allowances some of which are payable along with salary and some are as deferred payment. Basic salary, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, traveling allowance, etc. are ayable on per month basis.

Annual bonus is paid once in a year.
