INTERVIEW ATTIRE WOMAN

INTERVIEW ATTIRE WOMAN

If you are a woman candidate, following guidelines will help you in choosing your interview attire:

1. Dress. You have option either to wear   lady suit or sari plus blouse depending on the type of job for which you are being interviewed. For certain jobs which have high emphasis on dress code like teaching, civil services, medicine, etc., sari-blouse combination is preferred.

In such a case, you should wear single light color sari with matching blouse. In case of other jobs, you can wear lady suit with color combination of sari and blouse. Printed suit having large-sized design should be avoided. Similarly, pant and shirt should also be avoided. Jeans are not suitable in any case.

If you are attending interview during winter season, you should wear sweater or cardigan which matches your suit or sari. You can wear either lady shoe or sandal. However, the heel size should not be more than 2.0 inches. Further, heel quality should be such that it does not produce any sound beyond required level.

2. others. Avoid jewelry to the maximum possible level. Keep your clothes simple and leaning towards conservative. Use minimum cosmetics and avoid long polished nails if you wish to carry a purse, it should be small and matching with your style as you might be required to carry a small briefcase or portfolio for keeping your required documents. Your hair style should match your professional requirements.
