Do not become over conscious that you are being evaluated. If you become over conscious, you can not express yourself in a normal way. In fact, people are always evaluated in any type of interaction whether it is with the family members, friends, or any other social group. The only difference is that those people who are being evaluated and those who are evaluating act subconsciously not consciously. Therefore, they are not aware of this. Adopt this approach in the group discussion. This will help you to overcome any type of tension. Avoid emotional outburst at any cost as any emotional outburst will wipe out all your positive points. Do not bring ego in the group discussion process. Never impose that what you have said is the only right thing. Chances are that other things are equally right on the same issue. Avoid using sentences like “ I know it too well”, “my information is correct”, or similar such sentences which indicate your egotism.
