INTERVIEW BASICS

In the present scenerio of industrialization and commercialization, each organization needs people. Interview is the only option to fill the vacancies in organization or admissions in various courses like MBA, MBBS, MA, M.Phil etc.

In the selection process, whether employment or admission, of which interview is an element though quite significant, an attempt is made by the employing organizations to find match between the jobs candidate. Therefore, before going through interview basics, it is better to understand candidate for job.

JOB CANDIDATE MATCH

A Job candidate match is required as each job has certain requirements, and a candidate having certain specified characteristics will be able to meet the job requirements. When there is high job candidate match, job is likely to be performed according to the expectations of the employing organization. Generally before an organization starts searching for suitable candidate, it prepares two documents – job description and job specification. Such documents are prepared for each category of major organizational positions.
