Question : As a team leader, you have to give feedback about the performance of a team member but you find that this performance is not up to the mark. How will you give this feedback?

Answer : Tell that you understand that most people want feedback as long, of course, as it mirrors their self perception; when it does not, they do not. In the light of this, communicating adverse performance feedback may appear to be painful but you will give adverse performance feedback in the most non-threatening form.

You will try to impress the fellow worker that he could do much better than what he has done so far. In this process, you will let him know his performance and where he lacks.
