Question- What is your long-term career goal?

Answer- In general, one’s long term-career goal depends on ultimate goal of his life, and the ultimate goal of one’s life should be to do his best in the chosen field by using his all potentials so that he achieves the level of self-actualization, that is becoming what he is capable of becoming.

In the light of this, you may narrate your long term carrier goal in the form of using all your potentials to achieve a matching level of job performance. It is better that you avoid such goals as being happy on the job, prestigious job assignments, high financial benefits, etc. These are not the intrinsic factors of job but are extrinsic factors. Normally, employers prefer those candidates more who emphasis intrinsic factors.
