Dear TS, Can a Book be a best friend?

Yes my dear. A book can only be your best friend. A book of few pages can give a positive change in us whereas any expensive item may not. Let me explain it in detail.

In my family, my Dad always used to give me a book as a gift. He encouraged us to read more and more. He himself was fond of reading books. He used to say that an expensive dress can last only for few months whereas any book lasts for generations.

When I say a book can give us a positive change, I also mean otherwise also. A wrongly selected book can be a disastrous. I suggest you to buy a book which gives you positive thoughts. All religious books, self development books, management books, auto biographies etc have a permanent value. When you are to give any gift to any one, prefer a book. It reflects your personality also. All the best books are available in multi languages.

The unfortunate part is still majority of our families do not have a budget for books. Find a perfect Book Store near you. Ask them to keep you updated on new books. When you gift a book, people reciprocate in same manner.
